In line with the BS flag... anyone play with the hit boxes on the Assassin?  I started a private match and a few of us found out that when you fire at the vents on either side of the jump jets it registers as forward damage...  screen shot from

That sounds bizarre for a Bushwhacker to only be running 4 MG's too, maybe they were Heavy MG's... but regardless that still seems strange to only have that equipped.  So that was face to face then? Lately I've been zapped from behind by either Assassins or Centurions and had my back armor melted faster than anything even in my Assault Mechs before I can blink an eye.  And in terms of Gauss.... those IS that run dual Heavies are lethal.

Nope, never heard of such a thing. 

There is a tactic with lights distracting to allow for Gauss sniper execution - though in dmg report Gauss hits should be reported.

Started the game,

    Im in a MAd CAt MK II, 2 LBX 20 Ac, 2 er LL, 4 ER micros, full armor. 90 ton  mech.

   Come across a Bushwhacker X1 with 4 machine guns. 

   Match has just started, im fresh. 

    He cored me. In seconds. A 50 ton mech using only 4 machine guns cored a 90 ton mech in seconds. I didnt even break armor. he took 2 double taps from the 20s, center mass, 2 hits from my both LLs center mass, and 3 salvos from the quad micros. 

   Im calling BS
