DEVIL'S DUE TRIAL OF POSSESSION!
ATTENTION ALL WARRIORS OF THE DEVIL'S DUE!
The Khans have seen fit to hand down to the DEVIL'S DUE war resources in the form of battlemechs and mech bays.
As Commander of the Devil's Due I am calling for a TRIAL OF POSSESSION.
Any warrior wishing to be granted these implements of war and enter into honorable combat need submit their name in the responses to the posting.
- Trials will be 1 v 1 until only one Devil remains.
- Each round of combat will be overseen by an appointed OATHMASTER.
- The OATHMASTER will flip a coin. The winner of the coin toss will have the honor of choosing the weight class of battlemech for that round of combat. The looser of the coin toss will choose their place of battle.
- Combatants will be given TEN MINUTES to configure the mech they will take into battle.
- Combat begins when both mechs take the field. Combat ends when one mech is destroyed. The victor will move to the next round.
- Any warrior who does not show at the prescribed time of combat will forfeit their place in trial. If a Devil is available at that time who has NOT previously pledged to combat, that warrior may take their place in battle so long as it is a FIRST ROUND battle.
- The sole remaining DEVIL will be paid his DUE.
The DEVIL left standing will receive an ULTIMATE MECH PACK of their choosing.
The last to fall will receive a STANDARD MECH PACK of their choosing.
Matches will be recorded and posted to this site.
Time of match is TBD at this moment. Check back for updates.
im game, but what happens if my time comes up and im at work or something, do i lose automatically? will there be a notice of time before it happens?
An excellent question. The time of the trials will be announced in advance. Ideally the trials would all take place in the same day, however due to peoples schedules, if need be we can do each round in its own day or even spread rounds out. I am tentative looking to do this in mid December. I am announcing it now so we can spread the word, get some buzz going and make sure that everyone has the opportunity to opt in. We still have some devils not on the web site, so lets get the word spread and get a good turn out!
I will need to know the date because my schedule will be pretty packed in December, but I will definitely participate if possible!
