Mad Dog brawler build, MDD-A+ with skill tree option
Today, a working mech build is only complete with a well adjusted skill tree.
This is -of course- highly depending on personal preference and play style.
However that might be, this post will also contain most skills applied as I personaly and only for my own benefit feel comfortable playing with. Please use all that you feel is good for your own need and skip the rest. ![]()
I would be very much interested in you opinion and ideas on how to improve this setup.

Mech and Omnipods:
Mad Dog - brawler build.
MDD-A with MDD-C Arms
Weapons:
- 6x SRM 6 with ArtemisIV (8t of ammo)
- 2x MG (1t of ammo)
- 2x DBHS
Overview:
If ever you cross a MDD SRM6 build - kill it from afar, run or perish.
It comes with an ALPHA of 82 dmg - and does not overheat before doing this multiple times to you.

Weapons:
Focus on missel punch, but skill this area last. After all you need to reach your pray before you can deal any damage.
Optional (8 nodes): Heat Gen 8, 11 + 13; Range 3, 5, 6, 15 + 13
Note: Writing this, I moved some nodes to gain velocity, removing Heat Gen nodes.
Survival:
Used to further improve the build-in armor and struckture quirks for extended sustain.
Mobiity:
Kinetic burst, hard brake and anchor turn for me are vital to this build.
For a quick changes of position, to dodge from cover to cover and in gerneral to move unexpexted and beeing able to retreat - I found the following spread of nodes handy:
Operations:
To keep firing skill Cool Run 1+2+3 together with the first 5 Kinetic Burst nodes.
